What's Kep got in store this Easter?

25 March 2019

Want to give a gift that stands out this Easter?

Check out Kep Whitley’s 2019 Easter collection of brightly coloured artisan eggs, in store from 1 April.

We caught up with Kep to learn about her egg-cellent Easter promotions and what’s happening in store this April.

What have you got planned in the lead up to Easter?
This time of year is always choc-a-block (pun intended). We’ve been working really hard to surprise the palette with various new chocolate flavours and I can’t wait for customers to try them!

As we approach April, we’ve also received a lot of custom wedding requests. Helping people celebrate their big day with our ice-cream sandwiches and personalised bonbonniere is such a treat!

What does your Easter range look like?
You can expect a lot of bright and bold colours, along with some new shapes that challenge the status quo.

We’ve got three different sized eggs (small, medium and jumbo), as well as hens, chicks, bunnies and bonbons with retail prices ranging from $15 - $80.

Because they are hand-painted, each chocolate will be completely unique – a piece of art in its own right.

When will these items be available?
We’ll be releasing the new range in store from 1 April. Our normal trading hours are 11am - 6pm, Wednesday to Friday, but we will be extending those hours in the week before Easter to ensure you can fill your baskets with our vibrant Easter treats, ahead of the big day.

We’ve also got some exciting pop-ups planned with our full collection of new and reimagined items in a variety of flavours. You’ll find us at Melbourne Quarter in the foyer of 699 Collins Street Docklands on Monday 15 April and Tuesday 16 April, from 8am – 2pm, so you can also stock up on our decadent Easter eggs during your lunch break if you work in the area.

Lastly, what have you got planned for Easter when you’re not busy making and selling chocolate, Kep?
It’s our first Easter with our new baby Jokatama, so hubby and I are taking our Easter Bunny roles very seriously and starting to make our own Easter traditions.

Follow on Facebook for more Easter updates and competitions, and make sure to head down to Kep Whitley at 892 Bourke Street Docklands for some Easter treats, while supporting a local business in Victoria Harbour.
