This autumn, we are welcoming The Other Brother to our neighbourhood.
Wondering who the original brother is? It’s Mr Grazier, a favourite among workers, located at 700 Bourke Street, Docklands. Owners Billy and Pota Sakkas have loved running cafes in the area, and will be expanding their business footprint with The Other Brother at 839 Collins Street.
With an abundance of natural light, direct views onto the Yarra River and sleek interiors with copper detailing, this café is sure to be a great place to catch up with friends or colleagues for a lunchtime meeting.
We caught up with Café Manager Andre DiMingo to find out more about The Other Brother.
Here is what he had to say.
What’s your vision for The Other Brother?
Firstly, we are very excited to be joining the Victoria Harbour community. Our vision is to create a sophisticated dining experience where workers and residents can enjoy a relaxing meal by the water.
Are there any stand out items on the menu?
We are still finalising the menu, so I don’t want to give too much away, but the chilli scrambled eggs are to die for. We only use fresh produce and high-quality ingredients, so each menu item will be healthy, nutritious and full of flavour.
Will there be any take away options?
For sure, there are a lot of corporate workers in the area and we understand that you may need to eat lunch at your desk from time to time. That’s why The Other Brother will also have a full sandwich and salad bar for power-packed lunches that you can take back to the office or eat on the go. We’ll also have a fresh juice bar, where you can blend your favourite fruit and vegetables for a surge of vitamins and minerals.
What are your opening hours?
We’re open nice and early to cater for breakfast from 6am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
We’re looking forward to meeting you!
