Library at the Dock has so much more to offer than just books, with fun and educational events for people of all ages. Whether you want to spend a relaxing afternoon listening to live music, make educational art or learn a new skill, there are a variety of activities and workshops to keep you entertained.

Here’s what’s on at Library at the Dock throughout May and June this year:

Raleigh Williams performs at the Jazz Brew Café

Make the most of your Friday afternoon and enjoy some groovy jazz tunes. Raleigh Williams will be performing on Friday 8 June, showcasing her magnificent voice and demonstrating why she’s getting a reputation as one of Melbourne’s top jazz vocalists.

Aarti Jadu performs at Sunday Lounge Music

Have a relaxing end to your weekend with a visit to the intimate Sunday Lounge Sessions held every month. Embrace new music, meet some of your neighbours and celebrate Melbourne’s rich music diversity. On Sunday 27 May, enjoy a performance by jazz and R&B artist Aarti Jadu from 3pm.

Dock Eco June

Learn about what makes a resilient ecosystem in both humans and the environment at the Dock Eco session on Tuesday June 5. Run by award winning illustrator, artist and scientist Aviva Reed, explore ecological integrity and take part in a collaborative multimedia drawing exercise to help you visualise these patterns.
