Top activities to try this weekend at Victoria Harbour

30 August 2017

Whether you are a bit of a night owl or are simply looking for something new to do after work, we have a range of activities to keep you entertained before your head hits the pillow. Ranging from old favourites to new adventures, Victoria Harbour has something for everyone.

The classic dinner

With so many dinner options in the precinct, it’s not hard to find somewhere to have a delicious dish. We’re particularly fond of Tap831 for their sharing plates and great cocktails. Finish your night with a stroll down to the Light House to take in the ambience of the light show on the hour, every hour until midnight.

Jazz out

Break out of your usual routine and try something new by getting into the groove at one of the free jazz shows at Library at the Dock every Friday night. You can check the line-up out here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/the-dock-6500357197

Get physical

For those looking for a little night time adventure, you can’t beat a moonlight kayak down the Yarra. Starting at the dock in Victoria Harbour at sunset and travelling down the Yarra past Flinders Street Station, this unique experience includes a low-key dinner of fish and chips on the water.

Visit Kayak Melbourne at the Community Hub at The Dock, 912 Collins St.
