Every year, food and wine lovers flock to Melbourne to celebrate Victoria’s extraordinary food and wine industry with a series of speciality pop-ups, experiences and events as part of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival (MFWF).
Victoria Harbour is pleased to be a major sponsor of MFWF 2019 and to be hosting two events including the Noisy Ritual Pop-Up Fermentation Bar and Crawl n Bite.
Here’s what you need to know:
Noisy Ritual Pop-Up Fermentation Bar
Based in Brunswick East, Noisy Ritual is Melbourne’s first urban winery. It’s a functioning winery by day that transforms into a wine bar at night.
As part of MFWF, Noisy Ritual is opening a pop-up urban winery and bar in Victoria Harbour, so we can all get a taste of its inner-city winemaking prowess.
From 20-30 March, the Noisy Ritual Pop-Up Fermentation Bar at Victoria Harbour will be serving wine by the glass and bottle alongside delicious delicacies from our favourite Italian panini bar, Saluministi. This will take place alongside the fun of destemming, crushing and stomping on grapes, as the Noisy Ritual team prepare their next vintage wine.
Become part of Noisy Ritual’s proud tradition by taking part in a hands-on workshop on Saturday 23 or Saturday 30 March by registering via the MFWF website.
Crawl n Bite
The annual Victoria Harbour Crawl will take place on Tuesday 19 March, 5pm-7.30pm. The tour will begin at Saluministi, then venture into Noisy Ritual’s Pop-Up Fermentation Bar and end with an interactive chocolate experience at Kep Whitley. A $98 ticket will get you an exclusive preview of the Pop-Up Fermentation Bar, as well as hands on workshops, blind tastings, snacks and drinks.
We are excited to announce that Crawl n Bite is adding a few new destinations to their program with three brand new Crawls, visiting regional hotspots Healesville, Ballarat and Kyneton. So, if you’d like to get to know Victoria on a chaperoned tour of some local food and wine icons, book your tickets via the Melbourne Food and Wine website. But be quick, the Kyneton Crawl has already sold out.
We’ll see you in March!
