Celebrate World Vegan Day in Victoria Harbour

Where to find some meat-free feeds this November

World Vegan Day is fast approaching, and you can show your support for this cause on 1 November with a tasty meat-free meal at one of our local restaurants.

Here are four delicious vegan lunches you can enjoy in Victoria Harbour:

Chia Chia
Visit Chia Chia to try their delicious organic tofu chilli salad. With a mix of salad leaves, avocado, roasted capsicum, diced beetroot, roasted zucchini, tofu and chilli dressing, this flavour-filled salad ticks all the boxes. Not seeing the flavours you’re searching for? Make your own salad and pack in all the vegetables you could ever need.

Chia Chia

838 Collins St, Victoria Harbour
Open Monday – Friday 6.30am – 4pm

A25 Pizza
Who doesn’t love a traditional Italian-style pizza? For anyone who thinks their pizza wouldn’t be the same without a smattering of cheese, we challenge you to try A25’s delicious range of vegan toppings. Prepared using locally-made vegan mozzarella, you can stick with classics like a Vegan Mozzarella or get a good dose of vegetables with a Veggie Explosion. Even the meat eaters among you might be converted.

A25 Pizza

800 Collins St, Victoria Harbour
Open Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm and Friday 7am – 9pm

Banoi
Traditional Vietnamese recipes are always packed full of flavour and Banoi’s vegan menu is no exception. The salt and pepper tofu vermicelli bowl is a firm favourite, but you can also enjoy vegan steamed vegie buns, mushroom noodle soup and a range of rice paper rolls.

Banoi

807 Bourke St, Victoria Harbour
Open Monday – Saturday 11.30am – 9pm

Pok Pok
Thailand’s street food culture comes alive at the popular lunch destination Pok Pok.
Get your vegan fill with their tangy Tom Kha Wild Mushroom and Ginger Soup. The warming flavours are offset by cherry tomatoes, kaffir lime and coconut cream, to create a soothing and decadent soup.

Pok Pok

801 Bourke St, Victoria Harbour
Open Monday – Friday 11am – 9.30pm and Saturday 5 – 9.30pm
