Spend the day at Lunar New Year Dragon Boat Festival
Celebrate Lunar New Year with an action-packed Dragon Boat Festival which will be taking place on Saturday 8 February and Sunday 9 February along Victoria Harbour Promenade. Each day will begin with a unique eye dotting ceremony to awaken the dragons, followed by traditional entertainment including lion dances and cultural shows. There will also be market stalls, food trucks and children’s activities, so bring the family down to cheer on the paddlers while taking part in this great family-friendly event. Are you an ice-hockey fan? Then this event is for you. Watch The Mighty Roos battle the Victorian All-Stars at O’Brien Icehouse on Saturday 15 February and Sunday 16 February. Australia’s national men’s team have played in countries all over the world but have not competed on home-soil for more than seven years.
