How to enjoy the full Saluministi experience at home

4 May 2020

The ultimate Italian food store at your fingertips.

Saluministi, celebrated for its beautiful Italian panini and coffee, has expanded to open Saluministi Alimentari and Saluministi a Casa.

The Alimentari (Italian for grocery store), now sells the authentic Italian, house-made and locally sourced ingredients originally found on the Saluministi dine-in and take away menus for you to use in your kitchen at home.

Premium meat cuts, antipasto, freshly ground coffee are amongst the many items available for purchase in-store or online for delivery.

Pantry staples like milk, extra virgin olive oil, flour, pasta and peeled tomatoes are also on the shelf.

Peter and Frank from Saluministi recommend starting with these basics, and then adding a few special ingredients, like a nice cheese and salami, so you can create a winning dish from home like Pasta Salsiccia and Friarielli and Riso Al Forno.

Hand-made pork and fennel salsiccia (or sausages) and Parmigiano Reggiano would be their top picks and are both available at Saluministi Alimentari.

And, it gets better. The launch of Saluministi a Casa means you can also get handmade, pre-prepared meals delivered contact-less direct to your door. Just heat and eat, no further preparation required.

Here are some of the signature dishes available from Saluministi a Casa, head to their website for all the details and to place your order.

  • Porchetta arrostita (Italian style roast pork)
  • Salsicca e pepperonta (spicy Italian sausages with grilled peppers)
  • Riso al forno (baked rice)
  • Melanzane Parmigiana (eggplant lasagne)
  • Polpettone (Italian meatloaf stuffed with mortadella and smoked mozzarella)

Saluministi Alimentari and Saluministi a Casa is open Monday to Saturday from 7.00am – 3.00pm for takeaway and pick-up orders. They are also offering next day home delivery.
