Lifestyle Working Collins Street is a refreshing concept that combines architectural vision and creative planning with community responsibility, commercial functionality and environmental sustainability.

The innovative and sustainable commercial strata office building is unique for Melbourne and a creation by Lend Lease in collaboration with the Stable Group, the pioneers of the acclaimed Lifestyle Working Brookvale in Sydney.

Designed principally for small to medium enterprises, the building delivers the benefits and connectivity a large organisation would enjoy and consists of 137 suites, over ground and four upper levels, including retail and a bar / cafe.

The building has been designed with lower operating costs in mind, including a solar energy initiative as a viable and established component of the design. Around 15 per cent of the base building energy requirements will be supported by an allocation of solar panels from the roof. There are also solar lots available for purchase (1.5 Kvh solar systems strata titled) by individual suite owners to supply office energy – a first for Melbourne on a green-star rated commercial building. Tenants will also have free use of shared electric motor scooters, which are charged from solar energy during business hours. A fun and sustainable way for building users to get around the CBD, the scooters will help keep Victoria Harbour’s streets free of congestion from single-occupant vehicle use and associated carbon emissions.

Lifestyle Working Collins Street is one of the few commercial strata office buildings to target NABERS 5-star Energy and Water rating and has achieved a 5 Star Green Star rating. The building is designed in sustainable office strata office space. The building features award winning voice and data technologies – including wireless connectivity throughout – next generation fibre and internet infrastructure.

The 10,000 square metre building incorporates a series of privileged and semi- privileged spaces for tenants to utilise. The spaces offer various levels of privacy and containment within the building, as well as a flexible platform for meeting spaces, discussion areas and alternative working environments.

The development also includes landscaped areas within the central open courtyard and the building edge. Lifestyle Working delivers a new way of working for people within all levels of commercial enterprise while contributing to the growing number of green buildings in Victoria Harbour.
